To function, the Personal Duress Alarms must be connected to the
standard OmniTRACK system. This system comprises of communication
equipment, the OmniTRACK website and the OmniSTAR Network Control
Centre.
Personal Duress Alarms are triggered by the remote user. An
alert is sent via communication equipment and received by the
OmniSTAR Network Control Centre. Information is then processed at
the Network Control Centre which is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week.
