The SATRAN 81 sends and receives data between fixed or
mobile assets and the OmniTRACK website.
Features of the SATRAN 81:
- Operates worldwide between 70° North and South
- Combines L-Band satellite transceiver, GPRS modem and GPS
functions
- Can send data via cellular network and use satellite when out
of coverage
- Reports GPS position, speed & heading
- Analogue and digital inputs and outputs
- Reports ignition status (on or off)
- Can load geofences in transceiver
- Can send alerts if an input rises above a threshold
- Remotely configurable

The standard reporting rate of data for the OmniTRACK system is
every 10 minutes, however the SATRAN 81 reporting rate is very
flexible and the terminal can automatically switch between
satellite and GPRS depending on location or message type.
Personal Duress Alarms and the
Satsafe unit can be added
to the SATRAN 81 to provide companies with greater asset and
personnel information.
